Preparing for the Florida Clinical Social Work Licensing Exam can feel overwhelming — but you don’t have to do it alone. I created this 12-Week Guided Study Plan specifically for Registered Clinical Social Work Interns (RCSWIs) who want structure, practice, and confidence going into the exam.
• Question Sheets (no answers) for self-testing
• Answer & Explanation Sheets to check your work
• Instructor Version (questions with answers inline) for supervisors or study groups
Whether you’re studying solo or with peers, this system keeps you on track and helps you master the material.
Here’s a quick look at how your study weeks are structured:
• Week 1: Baseline Practice Test (50–75 questions)
• Weeks 2–12: Themed practice packets (70 questions each) covering:
• Ethics & Professional Standards
• Clinical Assessment Techniques
• Intervention Strategies
• DSM-5 Disorders & Diagnosis (Parts I & II)
• Treatment Planning
• Crisis Intervention
• Cultural Competence
• Human Development & Behavior
• Comprehensive Assessment & Treatment
Each week is designed for 10 questions per day, 7 days a week — realistic and sustainable.
• Download All Questions (Weeks 1–12) (sandbox:/mnt/data/LCSW_StudyGuide_AllWeeks_Questions.pdf?_chatgptios_conversationID=68a04cb8-5150-832d-8a5f-adeda4d78cac&_chatgptios_messageID=d0a7ccbc-7d0e-4bf9-aa9c-629ef6969cd7)
• Download All Answers & Explanations (Weeks 1–12) (sandbox:/mnt/data/LCSW_StudyGuide_AllWeeks_Answers.pdf?_chatgptios_conversationID=68a04cb8-5150-832d-8a5f-adeda4d78cac&_chatgptios_messageID=d0a7ccbc-7d0e-4bf9-aa9c-629ef6969cd7)
• Download Instructor Version (Inline Answers) (sandbox:/mnt/data/LCSW_StudyGuide_InstructorVersion.pdf?_chatgptios_conversationID=68a04cb8-5150-832d-8a5f-adeda4d78cac&_chatgptios_messageID=d0a7ccbc-7d0e-4bf9-aa9c-629ef6969cd7)
1. Test yourself first. Take the questions before peeking at answers.
2. Review mistakes deeply. Don’t just memorize the right letter — understand why the other options are wrong.
3. Stay consistent. Aim for 10 questions per day. Small, steady progress beats cramming.
4. Use the instructor version in groups. It’s perfect for supervision, tutoring, or peer study.
By the end of this 12-week plan, you’ll have practiced nearly 800 exam-style questions with explanations — and built both the knowledge and test-taking confidence you need to pass the LCSW exam.
